Team Outlook from Coach Braxton

This is a new team joining FC Batavia in 2023, I’m excited to see how these boys work together on and off the field. Being a new team, we will face the challenges of a fresh start, but I believe these boys can handle it. We are looking forward to seeing the development and growth of these young players!

Playing Style

• Our playing style is based off of Dutch Total Soccer where we stress possession, and so we focus on getting our youngest players comfortable with the ball at their feet vs just “kicking it”
• We keep practices fun and educational, utilizing drills that teach the foundational techniques for dribbling, passing, shooting in fun and engaging ways
• We support each other as a team and stress the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship and most importantly, having FUN
