Cody brings over a decade of experience in elite youth development. He currently serves as a Head Coach with RSL Arizona, leading within the MLS NEXT Academy and high-level state teams.
Known for his ability to develop technically and tactically strong, intelligent players, Cody emphasizes individual growth within a structured, tactically driven team environment. His experience also includes time with Sereno Soccer Club, where he contributed to ECNL and state-level success.
Cody has a proven track record of guiding players through competitive pathways and into collegiate opportunities.

Welcome to FC Batavia Dillon!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dillon developed his passion for soccer early, playing club and at Saugus High School. After moving to Arizona 10 years ago, he stayed active in athletics, earning his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competing for several years at the international level while also coaching kids.
Dillon brings a strong playing background and competitive mindset, focused on developing confident, technical players and a true love for the game. ⚽️
Our Batavia U12 Navy team is seeking a quality goalkeeper to join a top level team. Batavia has one of the best goalkeeper development programs in Arizona, providing weekly development training. FC Batavia is excited to welcome Coach Diego Garcia! ⚽️🔥
Diego brings extensive experience across youth, high school, and collegiate levels. Most recently at Campton United, his 2012 boys team won multiple top tournaments and finished as state finalists. He has also coached with Chicago KICS, led programs at St. Rita and Nazareth Academy, and served as Head Coach at Elgin Community College, with additional experience at the Division I level with Chicago State University.
A former collegiate goalkeeper at Judson University, Diego holds a USSF D License and is bilingual in Spanish. Now based in Arizona, he’s ready to develop players and create a competitive, high-level environment at FC Batavia.
FC Batavia is proud to welcome USSF B Licensed Coach Gabriel Peñaloza as a Head Coach and Director of Data Analytics & Video Analysis!
With nearly 30 years of coaching experience across three continents, Gabriel brings a wealth of knowledge and global perspective. As the founder of 3rd Lens Soccer Analytics, he adds elite-level expertise in analysis and video to support and elevate our player development.
