Team Outlook from Coach Rick
The team picked up some good new players. The core has been together for multiple years and have steadily climbed to higher levels. Now, in the last year of some of our seniors, they reached their goal of playing in ASL and will traveling to a couple of out-of-state college showcases
Playing Style
- Our playing style is based off of Dutch Total Soccer where we stress possession, and so we focus on getting our youngest players comfortable with the ball at their feet vs just “kicking it”
- We keep practices fun and educational, utilizing drills that teach the foundational techniques for dribbling, passing, shooting in fun and engaging ways
- We support each other as a team and stress the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship and most importantly, having FUN
