Heather is a proud mother of two, a wife, a serious music fan, and a crazy soccer mom. Though Heather and her husband, Randy, never played soccer, their son, Rory, fell in love with the beautiful game at a very early age.
In 2019, they decided it was time to make the leap into the sometimes scary and overwhelming world of club soccer. They went to try out at this tiny little club led by a direct yet kind Dutchman called FC Batavia. All it took was one tryout and the Christman family was all in. A couple of short years later, Heather leapt at the chance to serve FCB as Field Director, a position she still holds today. Months later she accepted the position of Secretary for the Board of Directors. This August, Heather accepted the nomination for and won the seat of Vice President.
In addition to her service for the club she loves, Heather works as a corporate trainer for General Dynamics Mission Systems and serves as the Booster President for her son’s choir. Though these jobs require a great deal as well, she proudly serves FCB and its members because she believes in the mission, and truly believes that FC Batavia is different. Heather enjoys her roles and encourages those who can get involved whenever possible with this wonderful organization.
