Gabriel Peñaloza

Gabriel Peñaloza is a soccer analyst, coach, and educator whose work sits at the intersection of data, tactics, and player development. As the founder of 3rd Lens Soccer Analytics, he has created and implemented analytical frameworks and video analysis, work that earned a Gold Medal at the Football Content Awards. He treats analytics and video as teaching instruments rather than as evaluation mechanisms: tools that make the game more legible for players and coaches, and raise the level of thinking across an entire organization.

With nearly 30 years of coaching experience and active roles at the youth elite and international academy levels, Gabriel brings a perspective that is both globally informed and practically grounded. He is trilingual in English, Spanish, and French, holds a USSF B License and the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, and has a background in formal education that shapes how he communicates, builds culture, and develops people.
